A Rich Training Experience

Rooted in over 26 years of yoga teaching and lifelong learning across health, movement and mindfulness, Wisdom in Motion is a Yoga Alliance Professionals accredited 300-hour Foundation Yoga Teacher Training programme.

It is for people who feel ready to deepen their practice, explore yoga more fully, and learn how to share it with others in a thoughtful, inclusive and meaningful way. You may already be working in yoga, healthcare, education, community work or holistic wellbeing, or you may simply feel called to understand yoga in greater depth and develop a new direction in your life.

This training honours yoga as a holistic practice that supports body, mind, breath and whole-person wellbeing. Throughout the course, you will explore yoga philosophy, movement, breath, meditation, relaxation, anatomy, posture study, sequencing, inclusive practice, professional skills and the art of holding a teaching space with care and integrity.

Blending Hatha yoga with accessible, evidence-informed and whole-person approaches, the course supports you to teach with clarity, creativity and compassion. You will study foundational postures in depth, develop posture analysis skills, explore adaptations and props, and learn how to create safe, meaningful and well-paced classes for a range of students.

The 300-hour programme also gives greater space for teaching practice, class observation, restorative foundations, workshop planning, sequencing and professional integration. This allows your learning to become more embodied, practical and relevant to the realities of teaching.

The learning environment is spacious, supportive and paced to allow time for reflection, practice, feedback and steady growth. You will be encouraged to draw from your own experience, develop confidence, and refine a teaching voice that feels authentic to you.

You will also benefit from insight and inspiration from guest tutors across areas such as nutrition and back care.

As part of the course, you will learn within a supportive group of peers, with time to share experiences, practise teaching, ask questions and build lasting connections. Mentoring, feedback and practical guidance are woven throughout the training to help you integrate the course material into your own teaching.

Ongoing support is also included after the training finishes, offering encouragement as you begin to share yoga in the way that feels right for you.

Wisdom in Motion offers a learning journey that honours both tradition and innovation, supporting you to share yoga with confidence, care, integrity and meaningful community impact.
